Provincial Qualification 2010

Wimgym dominated at the Provincial Qualification in Ste-Thérèse. It has been a stellar year up until this point for the club. They are sending an unprecedented number of competitors to the Provincial Championships in Quebec City the weekend of April 23rd. Head coach, Natalie Turner is proud to send 31 gymnasts at the provincial level to Quebec and 11 at the National level.
At the qualifier there were several outstanding performances in all levels. Notably, at provincial level 2 Tyro, Sarah Armstrong placed 1st AA and Kiana Lemieux 2nd AA. The podium for provincial level 3 Argo held Laurie Denommeé 1st AA, Chloé Viel 2nd AA and Ariane Labrie 3rd AA. In Tyro, Hayley Blake took home 1st AA and Amanda Diallutto-Perez took home the silver AA. Novice competitor, Béatrice Quirion placed 1st AA and in the Senior category while Kelsey Coulter placed 2nd AA.
At the CR3 level. There are 4 gymnasts who have qualified as team members for the Lac St. Louis region. They are: Emilie Dillon, Marjorie St. Louis, Kim Fondacaro and Aya Galal. They will represent Wimgym at the Challenge des Region in May. Good luck ladies!
