Wimgym, the West Island Gymnastics club, is a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to offer the opportunity to youth to develop themselves through the sport of gymnastics at a variety of levels: recreational through to the highest levels of competition.
To obtain this mission, administrators, training staff, volunteers and parents, maintain the following goals:
- To provide and maintain a safe and positive environment for children
- to develop in the sport of gymnastics

- To provide quality gymnastics programming at all levels: Recreational,
- Provincial, National and International with the goal of giving all athletes
- the opportunity to become the best gymnast they can be!

- To provide quality coahcing to nurture and develop the full potential of
- all our gymnasts and to offer them an environment in which the athletes
- themselves are limited only by personal ability and desire

- To recognize the contribution that all coaches, officials, administrators,
- volunteers and gymnasts make towards the success and development of
- the sport, and to the operation of our club

- To promote goodwill, sportsmanship and team spirit among all members,
- gymnasts and families
